Our classes are genuinely the highlight of the week for the dogs who come, and the people too. All dogs are welcome, including reactive, anxious and rescue dogs, with everything set up so every dog has the space they need.
Mantrailing
Mantrailing unleashes your dog’s natural superpower, their nose. Your dog learns to follow a scent trail and track down a “missing” person, and the confidence it builds is remarkable, often from the very first session.
We train in a different location each week around Andover, from sprawling forests to town centres. Reactive, anxious, nervous and working dogs are all welcome, because every dog works at their own distance with space built in. No experience needed, everything is taught on the day.
Scent Work
Turn your pet dog into a scent detective, just like the dogs you see working in airport security. Sit Walk Stay is proud to be the only qualified trainer offering City of Guilds Scent Detection and formally trained UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze, Silver and Gold instructor for at least an hour’s radius.
Scent work is one of the best things you can do for a dog. It is mentally tiring in the best way, it builds confidence, and it suits almost every dog, whatever their age, breed or starting point. As you progress there are themed searches and higher grades to work towards, so there is always somewhere to go next.
